From Matthew MooreBryan and Danielle hoped to keep things as simple as possible for their garden wedding at Tiny Boxwoods in Houston,Texas. They wanted two things: a meaningful ceremony and delicious food. So, when a thunderstorm rolled in hours before the outdoor wedding, the couple was surprisingly calm. An hour before the start time, the clouds broke from the morning rain and the sun emerged just in time for their “first look” in the garden….beautifully captured in these photos. Bryan and Danielle vividly remember the worshipful ceremony which was framed by fresh herbs and flowering kale in all the bouquets. The evening ended with the couple’s favorite foods from the personalized menu and some creative alternatives to wedding cake: tiny pies in small mason jars and cookies with milk. They danced under the gazebo to their favorite song (Heavenly Day by Patti Griffin) and provided each guest with a parting gift of home-dried basil from their garden.
