Vancouver Backyard Wedding from The Apartment Photography

It never fails.  Combine a sweet backyard setting with one seriously adorable duo and it's a guaranteed day of pretty.  Especially when that adorable duo also happens to be a twosome that can really craft the heck out of some drop-dead gorgeous details, like stunning arches, lush florals (+ hops boutonnieres) and some fab signage.  Throw in a dream team of Vancouver vendors (Forte Events and The Apartment Photography, anyone?) and we've got a lovely little gallery on our hands.  Join me there and see.

From The Apartment Photography... This backyard wedding was 100% Amber and Ryan – with so many personal DIY touches that made it their own. Being huge beer lovers, the bride and groom grew their own hops for the boutonnieres and brought in kegs from their favourite breweries; the brides father built the arch under which they got married, as well as a sign post that showed where the different areas of the wedding were happening; the flowers for the centerpieces were grown by the bride's aunt; and with limited seating, the happy couple created picnic baskets full of goodies so the younger guests would have a place to sit on the lawn.

With so many personal touches this wedding was truly unique, we are so happy and grateful that we could be a part of Amber and Ryan's special day.
