From Caroline Tran... Liz is Vietnamese and Lyese is French Algerian. They both had friends & family traveling from Vietnam and France to celebrate with them, so they wanted to honor both traditions. They came up with a beautiful Chinoiserie theme to tie in the French & Asian cultures. They also had a planting ceremony where they added soil from their home country to nurture a tree, representing their marriage.
