True story: I’ve never actually been to Texas. Total shame, I know. But I imagine that big, beautiful state to be a lot like this Wimberley wedding — a true slice of rustic charm. From the sprawling farm tables to the wide, open spaces of Montesino Ranch, it’s a place I’d be more than happy to sit and stay a while (or, forever!) So until I can get my “visit Texas plan” officially in place, you can find me in the gallery of The Life You Love Photography’s pretty captures right here.
Jennifer was studying in a bookstore during her junior year in highschool when a boy came up and asked for her phone number… the rest was history! Jennifer and Nowlin planned their “destination” wedding (planning from San Antonio) at the beyond beautiful ranch at Montesino Ranch. Montesino Ranch is privately owned and spans acres and acres of gorgeous land and scenes. It was important to the couple to have an intimate wedding showcased all local vendors when it came to food, wine, breweries, flowers. The couple opted out of having a bridal party which really set the tone for how intimate the ceremony was. With the Wimberely hills as the backdrop to their vows, there was not a dry eye in the house. The sun set over the reception set up, rows of long tables with mismatched plates with twinkling lights over head. It was a beautiful day.
