Brides who think outside of the box in the most gorgeous ways are ladies I can adore. Take this bride, for instance. Her wedding took full advantage of her stunning home and Save the Date created a soiree around a harvest theme. Totally something I’ve never seen before, but totally something I love. Images by Berit was on hand to capture the whole beautiful day, and we can’t thank Berit enough for sending them our way!
From the photographer… Lilly and Niklas had a beautiful, hot summer day for their backyard wedding in South Hampton, NY. It was important to them to be surrounded by the place, people, and things they love most. They had a beautiful clear top tented wedding reception in their backyard, and used local produce and resources. Lilly chose a ‘harvest’ type of theme for her decor, using local organic vegetables and beautiful tree branches for her table decor. When she and Nik first moved into together in their home in South Hampton, they planted a group of birch trees in their backyard that they knew would some day be a part of their wedding – and it was! We took most of the family photos by these beautiful trees. The weekend ended on a beautiful note at Lilly’s Aunt’s home for a home made brunch.
