Okanagan Lake Engagement Session from Kevin Trowbridge

If there's one thing I've learned in my years at SMP, it's this: engagement sessions are awesome.  Awesome in that they are always, always chock-full of an abundance of love... and a non-stop excitement and joy that you just can't find elsewhere.  In other words, they are amazing, and when you throw in a rustic setting like this breathtaking Okanagan Lake backdrop and the fabulous Kevin Trowbridge to capture all of the magic, they jump from amazing to amazing and then some.  Click here for so much more.

From Kevin Trowbridge... Miya and Kyle are getting married on August 3rd, 2013 at Linden Gardens in Kaleden, British Columbia which is a jewel of a tiny town located on the shores of Skaha Lake.  Kyle pulled out all the stops when he proposed to Miya (who is very hard to surprise) including secretly flying from Kelowna to Calgary, renting a car, and driving to Tiffanys to purchase Miya's ultimate dream ring! They wanted something rustic and country for their engagement session, and we immediately thought a classic canoe and vintage movie on the beach would be perfect.  It turned out to be crazy windy, causing the sheet used as the movie screen to be ripped off many times, but they never complained and had a good time through it all.  We love the classic Canadian look of these images framed by the wild beauty of the Okanagan Lake in British Columbia.
