I’m what some might call an inspiration junkie. I pin, favorite, and store images away like it’s my job (and it kind of is) hoping to set my brain in a tailspin of beautiful ideas. Well today’s inspiration overload landed right in my lap thanks to this stunning shoot from Tessa Marie Weddings planned by We Tie The Knots. It’s everything I seek out each day in one pretty post – gorgeous florals from Boukates, stunning linens from La Tavola, perfect chiavari chairs from Sweet Seats and a show stopping cake from Sweet Peeps Bakery. From We Tie The Knots… Our main goal with this styled shoot was to inspire brides to think outside of the box. We chose a bit more of a rustic outdoor venue but jazzed up the tables with sequins and colorful patterned linens. We wanted to show brides you don’t have to do farm tables and vintage decor for an outdoor reception. We are predicting that patterns will be a big trend in 2014. An outdoor venue is perfect for this because its like working with a blank canvas. You don’t have carpet or wallpaper to compete with. We also want to teach brides its ok to mix and match patterns, colors, textures and a bit of modern + vintage.
