There are some weddings that grace the pages of SMP that I just want to live in forever. This is one of those weddings. It's perfectly sweet, and filled with the kind of love that just makes you smile from ear to ear. From the Bride...Nigel and I were looking forward to getting married but definitely dreading organising a wedding. It seemed such a daunting task, particularly while we were both working busy jobs. Luckily we were both pretty easy-going and didn't get too stressed over the finer details. The internet also became our best friend. Each night we scoured the net to find a bow tie, decorations or bridesmaids dresses. It was a truly international wedding - not only did our guests fly in from different countries but as did things like our invitations (Canada) and clothes (USA). There was no theme or colours, we just wanted it to be relaxed and fun! The day went so fast and we were so blessed to have the amazing support of our parents and a relief from the rainy weather during the week. It was worth all the organisation and we could not have had a better day! Most memorable moments included putting the ring on the wrong finger, the suckling pig which had people lining up for thirds, smooth sounds from the jazz band, the Chinese tea ceremony and drooling over the dessert table.
