I sort of love how modern brides are breaking every rule in the book when it comes to wedding venues. Opting for spaces like a parking garage, an old department store, or — my personal favorite — industrial style lofts like this shoot from IYQ Photography. Infused with a sense of girly glam by Events 306 and statement-making florals from Newberry Brothers, there’s really only one thing left to do: pin your sweet little heart out right over here.
From IYQ Photography…We love the opulence of glamour but we also love the simplicity of industrial. We thought it would be really fun to combine two of our favorite styles and see what happens. Well, it turned out great! Our gorgeous model wore two different dresses. One super glamorous gold sequin gown by Badgley Mischka and one Grecian dress by Mark & James by Badgley Mischka with gold sequin details.
Her hair was polished yet relaxed. It looked great with or without the flower halo. We chose a very industrial location at The Studios at Overland Crossing. We are obsessed with the white brick and large windows. It was such a clean slate and really adapted well with our vision for a glamour/industrial shoot. Newberry Brothers did a fantastic job on the flowers. They understood our vision exactly. They used a variety of gold vases with the most beautiful flowers. We died for the flower halo.
The flowers were totally glamorous yet soft and relaxed all at the same time. The industrial wooden table was designed by Events 306. It turned out beautifully. We loved the tables industrial elements. It is so simple yet so beautifully crafted. We were so happy with the mini cupcakes, mini cake and macrons from Happy Cakes Bakery. We loved the mint green with pale pink sugar heart cutouts. It is such a soft color and it complemented the gold details so well. Not only were the desserts gorgeous to look at they tasted amazing! The invitations were created by Tasha Rae Designs. They were perfect. The cover of the invitation was a shimmery light pink with grey and mint green printed text on the inside. The invitations were held together by a glittery gold ribbon.
Tasha Rae Designs also created the beautifully crafted menus. The invitation envelope was calligraphed by the amazingly talented Evette at Pretty Writing in gold ink. It was the perfect complement to a perfect invitation. We were blown away by all of the talented vendors we worked with.
