French Chateau Wedding Inspiration from bubblerock

I’ve tried starting this intro about ten times now and found myself speechless every time. The beauty in these images from bubblerock is beyond words. Quelque chose de bleu and bubblerock created a French Chateau wedding inspiration shoot that is more stunning than anything I could possibly say. So the best I can do is to leave you with a link to the gallery of this beautiful, beautiful shoot. You’re welcome.

From the designer… Steph from bubblerock and I have been wanting to work on a project together for a while. We first threw ideas around with in mind a Garden Chic shoot with a French touch. But our ideas never quite came together until we found the perfect place and then everything made sense.

Le Mas de Montet, an amazing yet unknown Renaissance Château in Dordogne is the perfect place for a wedding as it is both elegant, chic and full of style. It caters for big events or intimate weddings. Once there, you never need to leave.

From there, we imagined this door opening to the most romantic ceremony under a gorgeous hundreds of years old tree. Simply decorated with falling ribbons and cristals, an old desk found in an antique shop where a few books and flowers surround a guest book waiting to be opened…

Following this intimate celebration we set the dining table right in front of the Château and instead of a traditional table seating chart, a few escort cards were set in an old printer’s shelf amongst flowers and door handles. The menus were nailed with golden nails to little wooden planks adding a little original touch to a very chic table. And the golden ink wells were used both as placecards and favours. And in the middle stood a gorgeous bouquet.

And no celebration could be complete without a dessert table and a wedding cake with a couple of very French desserts: eclairs and macarons.

This inspiration shoot was only possible thanks to an amazing team.
