San Juan Capistrano Wedding from onelove photography

We love a good getaway shot. And when that getaway is awash with sparkle? Even better. This is an exit that deserves to be framed front and center on the wall. It’s gorgeous and fits right in with the rest of this villa affair so brilliantly captured by onelove photography. With a soft color palette of romantic pastels, white blooms by Floral Occasions grouped with a killer dessert spread and aforementioned send-off, you’re sure to find a whole lot to love in the full gallery as well as in the accompanying film shot by Lunch Pail Pictures.

From the Bride…Sean and I adore food, drink, and great company. When we first drafted our guest list, there was approximately 250 friends and family members that came to mind. When we visited the Villa in San Juan Capistrano and heard their max occupancy of 150, we knew we would have to make it work! The intimate setting, exceptional staff, and unique menu choices sealed the deal for us. As a couple, we get so much enjoyment out of creatively presented and tasty food, delicious specialty cocktails, and of course, desserts. Our vows and ceremony reflected the ease and passion that Sean and I share in our relationship. With our affirmations and promises to each other, our love was completely evident from the very beginning. We got such special feedback from our guests, which assured us that we really did portray our life long commitment to each other on that most incredibly memorable day!

Our word of advice is to be flexible and organized. Plan in advance and plan certain things together. Sean and I had so much fun looking at venues, tasting food and desserts, taking dance lessons, and completing DIY projects, like wooden signs. Try and give up a little bit of the control in order to keep it fun! Sean planned the whole honeymoon to Ireland and whenever I felt stressed about planning, he reminded me that he had a ton of surprises in store for us! Remember that your wedding day is for the two of you and everyone is there to celebrate your vows to each other (not to judge your choice of this or that)!

Until the day of the wedding, I really did not experience any nerves. The minute my mind and body realized, “We’re getting married today!”, it all kicked in. Our favorite memories from the day were our first look (which I highly recommend), our alone time to “cheers” and have appetizers and practice our dance in between pictures and cocktail hour. The speeches perfectly captured the sentiment of our closest friends and family. The day went by in a snap and we can’t wait to relive it over and over when we see our video.

The whole team at the Villa, led by Eric & Michelle were an absolute pleasure to work with. They go above and beyond to make the bride, groom, families, and guests feel happy and taken care of. They provided support whenever and wherever we needed. They contributed to the intimate and elegant feel of our day!
