Ramona California Engagement Session from Shelly Anderson Photography
Oh that California light. It never fails to make me stop in my tracks to soak it all in. So snapping up a few shots in that magic hour, when the light just seems to sparkle, would be a no brainer to me. And I bet this couple is beyond glad they asked Shelly Anderson to do just that, capturing their engagement in a way they will treasure forever. See it all here.
From Shelly... Mike- gentle giant yogi with a passion for adventure, new foods, and helping others. Lizzy- a bright, bubbly, ray of sunshine who can see straight through anyone's soul and believes positivity can solely solve all of the worlds problems. Together he is the calm to her craziness, and she is the light to his tranquility. Together Lizzy and Mike have traveled to all corners of the world, literally living out of suitcases and in strangers homes, evening WOOFing on farms! They now reside in San Diego with their rescue dog, Oso, who followed them home after their afternoon jog. They plan to settle down "for good" up north while opening a healing center for the soul, and will probably supply the center with their own food from their garden!
I have known Lizzy and Mike for a few years now and was THRILLED to photograph such love birds for their engagement session. They wanted their photos to be natural, simple, fun, and organic- just like their lifestyle. I decided to take them to two places. The first was a park nearby, since Lizzy and Mike LOVE nature walks. The second was my uncle's back yard in Ramona, California at that magic hour before sunset. He has been landscaping in his backyard for a few years, and someone needed to give it the attention it deserves! These two can't get enough of each other.
