I love a bride who isn’t afraid to get her hands a little dirty. The bride who’ll roll up and her sleeves and DIY the heck out of every last detail with a smile on her face. And while some may think the DIY wedding has already had its “moment,” this sweet-as-can-be Texas soiree proves that so, sooo wrong. Brett Heidebrecht worked this usual magic behind the camera, and believe it or not, there’s more to be swooned right over here.
From Brett Heidebrecht… Mike & Gentry had a pretty small wedding in Athens, TX which took place on Plum Pond Bed & Breakfast. A cute little house with some beautiful land. Gentry was the epitome of a DIY bride. Anything she could do herself she did.
We had perfect light and perfect weather. Loving family and friends made for a delightful evening celebration.
Gentry and the family made most of the decor by pairing different elements together. The lined the tables with wood and succulents displayed in various ways. They strung lights over the dance floor and it made for a beautiful canopy and provided a perfect amount of light.
