From the Bride... Since the day we got engaged, Nathan and I knew that the three most important things for our wedding would be family, friends and great food.  As long as we had that, we knew we'd have the best wedding ever.

With such an amazing venue and backdrop as Marvimon, we knew we wanted to keep our decorations and design super clean and simple.  We went for a modern vintage feel and stuck to 4 colors-black, white, light grey and light pink.  From the asymmetrical fringe buffet backdrop to the crisp flowers in modern glass bottles, Emilia executed everything we dreamed of and planned way beyond our expectations and blew us away!

We had so many friends and family members travel far to be with us for the wedding which was so special-it was amazing to see our families joining together.  All of our hard work and stress paid off as everything came together and the day was just perfect.  How could it not be?  I married my best friend in front of our dearest friends and family.

We had such a fun time planning the wedding and truly appreciate all the help we got from our families and awesome coordinator Emilia from Sweet Emilia Jane.

From Sweet Emilia Jane...After our very first meeting, I knew that I was going to have a blast working with Erin and Nathan to help plan and design their fabulous Marvimon wedding.  They have a great energy, have great style and, of course, the sweetest love for one another.  With an inspiration folder about 5 inches thick I also knew that I'd have my work cut out for me but we had so much fun coming up with different ideas to tie all the design elements together from the ceremony chuppah to the dessert backdrop.  We wanted to create something that was beautiful, simple and elegant but with a playful, modern feel...and a little bit of pretty, vintage-inspired goodness mixed in too.  We chose to use tissue paper decor around the venue making super long fringe garlands and fringe tassels in white, gray and light pink that popped against the black and white chevron runners that Erin had picked out.  I loved the white balloons Erin ordered for the ceremony.  They were simple and sweet but created a fun, modern backdrop and looked so cute against the Marvimon succulent walls.  The chalkboard escort sign we made was another favorite of mine displayed in a vintage frame that we painted light pink.  It had a rustic, vintage vibe but with a modern makeover and was so adorable!  My ultimate favorite project, though, was the dessert backdrop.  This was definitely a labor of love with about 100 handmade paper tassels and giant fringe garlands.  The asymmetrical arrangement took this already sweet idea and made it a little more modern and whimsical.

I was so thankful that Erin and Nathan put their trust in me and booked a lot of my referrals creating a dream team of amazing vendors from Auntie Em's to their fabulous photographer, Captured By Aimee.  Pair that with the crew at Marvimon and the day couldn't have gone smoother or been more beautiful.
