1950s Style Picnic from Anne Robert

Like many 80’s born kids, I went through that awkward phase at the ripe old age of 13. You know the one – the tear-away pants, butterfly clip saga? Well, I bring it up because I’m convinced that Anne Robert and Bliss Weddings could even make THAT era look good. Those two are simply magical. One look at this 50’s inspired picnic with the perfect vintage decor from Something Vintage Rentals and you’ll see exactly what I mean. And per usual, there’s a whole gallery where this came from.

From Anne… A constant classic, a sunny 1950’s summer is just plain dreamy. The brains behind this summer barbeque were Emilie from Bliss and Dawn from Something Vintage.  A true 50’s shoot, many of the items came from the actual time period.. the dress, bike, dinnerware, silverware, vases, seating and most of the items seen  are all vintage. Dawn has a collection of furniture and things that gets you giddy. The beautiful flowers and calligraphy are beautifully done and the food was not only straight from an organic farm but all things tasted were moved to my crave list! A beautiful group of vendors to create a beautiful day.
