Wedding Proposal in San Diego from Shelly Anderson Photography

All proposal stories are adorable.  But throw in a groom-to-be so excited to ask his lovely lady the BIG question that he abandons all of his original plans and, well.  That's an entirely new level of adorability. Case in point?  These two San Diego sweeties, who pledged to spend their lives together overlooking the city skyline where they had their very first date.  It's a cuter than cute story meets a breathtaking backdrop meets an awesome man down on one knee.  See it all captured by Shelly Anderson in the full gallery.

From Shelly Anderson Photography... Tyler called me one afternoon with his great idea of proposing to his love, Justine. He wanted to recreate their first date. He took her to lunch a year prior on Shelter Island with the unforgettable view of downtown San Diego as their backdrop. Tyler was planning his proposal a month in advance, perfectly aligned with Justine settling into their new apartment together and after her first week with her nursing job. Three weeks later he called me saying "Change of plans!", he was TOO anxious and just wanted to do it NOW. He took Justine to dinner at the yummy Island Prime C-Level restaurant on Harbor Island. While they were eating I snuck around, scoping out the area for "the spot."  After they were done eating he called me from the bathroom and I told him where he could find me. Nervous as ever (I'm sure Tyler was nervous too...), I was waiting for them to walk down the pathway as Tyler got down on one knee to ask Justine to be his companion for life. She said YES!
