From Patricia… I love everything about Whitney and Sim’s wedding. It’s elegant, fun and filled with gorgeous details. When we met to discuss their wedding photography, Whitney & Sim expressed that being near the ocean in Southampton set the tone for their wedding day. They wanted to keep things simple and free of formalities. They hoped to achieve the same with their photography. They wanted to tell the narrative of their day in a way that was real and true. Capturing the fun was key.
I was thrilled when Whitney explained she understood the importance of working with natural light. We organized the day’s photography around the most beautiful available light. I also love that Whitney embraced the elements of nature. Being near the beach, there was no getting away from wind. We took advantage of this gift from nature. Whitney is gorgeous. Her simple makeup, wind swept hairstyle and fluid wedding dress was perfect. The result was something magical – you can see it in every image. [dotted]
