This wedding ticks all my dream wedding check boxes. Gorgeous photography by Calli B Photography? Check. Dreamy vistas? Check. Perfect florals from Mondo Floral Designs and stuning styling by CL Weddings & Events? Check. Adorable family? Check, check, check. It's a wedding filled to the brim with love and so much lovely I can barely contain myself, and it's all sitting pretty right here.
From the Bride...We decided from the start we didn't want a coloured theme or anything like that. we had splashes of all different colours with a lot of white. we wanted classic elegance with a whimsical theme that will never go out of style. We had garden wedding with 55 of our closest family and friends with Tiffany chairs and galvanized buckets full of blooms at the end of the aisle, we also had jars of flowers and bunches of flowers hanging from the gazebo. our wedding sign was a just a vanished wooden sign with a huge yellow love heart on it to match the front of our invites as we had quite an intimate ceremony we made sure there was a seat for each of our guests. My dad and I arrived in Berti Bentley from private airport transfers, where my bridesmaids and I walked down the aisle to Angus and Julia stone- will take you there. Matt and I wrote our own vows and my Matron of Honour, Tina did a reading by AB Paterson As Long As Your Eyes Are Blue, Jayden gave us our rings and our guests pronounced us husband and wife, they each had different coloured pastel ribbons that the bride had made instead of confetti that they waved also, our celebrant had practiced it with the guests before the brides arrival, was a huge highlight for us and something very special.
Our guests had refreshments and canapés in the court yard while we went off and had our photos. we had a lot of fun and got to spend some quite time together before the reception as well as seeing some amazing spots in Maleny. For the day we had hired furniture from CL Weddings and Events, we had a cocktail reception so we had hired lounges and other furniture from their linen range for plenty of setting for all our guests as well as high bars in the outdoor smoking area where we places boxes of cigars, they were a huge hit with all the guest!! the bride made and done all of the decorations with Mondo Floral designs doing all the floral designs to perfect the decorations. we used the bridesmaids flowers in vases on a table with a wooden Mr & Mrs Goldman sign and photos of our parents on their wedding day. our favours to our guests were magnets Matt, Jayden and I had made, we had drawn a picture and had a stamp carved into the picture (etsy.com)we glued painted and stamped them for our guests a small personal gesture to our guests. everyone loved how original they were and it gives us butterflies seeing them on peoples fridge.
A few special memories were, when the music started Matt knelt down to Jayden and gave him a big hug and said "I love you, its go time!" then they both stood tall and watched and waited for me. My dad is very shy and wasn't going to make a speech on the night as he is terrified of public speaking but with the help of my Matron of Honour he got up a said a short speech to Matt and I, it meant more than words could explain it was the best gift my dad has ever given me to do that for us. when we had our first day Matt and I were dancing away then turned around and everyone was on the dance floor it was amazing when then both floated around the dance floor and had a little dance with everyone. Jayden was very involved in our big day and he also made a speech that he wrote himself when after Matt and I had done ours he made everyone love and cry a real crowd pleaser, he also entertained everyone later on by dancing the whole Gangnam style dance.
