Once in a blue moon a wedding falls in my lap that’s everything I adore in one little spot. It’s a true love story of the wildly talented Kathleen Deery and her beloved set to a dreamscape that literally made my heart beat ten times faster. Because it’s that good. The love, the beauty of the San Francisco backdrop, the images by Jose Villa that add a layer of magic to an already gorgeous ceremony and it’s just getting started. If you missed it, have a look at the inspiration behind Kathleen and Dino’s big day and coming up next, the reception that will rock those socks right off your feet. Psst…if you can’t wait take a peek here for the full day.
From Kathleen… The Chapel of Grace signified both the importance of the ceremony and the excitement of being in one of the most epic buildings in San Francisco. The moment the Grace Cathedral bells rang six times, I walked down the aisle with a gaggle of children, all special to me in my life. The altar was a bloom with dogwood branches, French tulips, peonies and garden roses. It was my way of softening the marble alter and making the ceremony a little more intimate. Truth be told, my guests will more quickly recount the dulcet tones of my dear friend, Ana, who serenaded my guests in a sublime version of Ava Maria and the Lord’s Prayer. I chose to carry a composite rose, something my team and I have featured in many of our clients’ weddings over the years.
