Because it just doesn’t get prettier than this floral-filled affair, and the rain that showed up? It just made it that much more intimate. So give yourself some time to soak it all up, it’s time well spent. See it all here.
From Lauren Methia…Kathryn and Thomas have been together for 10 years and said “I do” among close family and friends at the Heritage Museums & Gardens on Cape Cod in May. They currently live in San Francisco but chose to get married on the East Coast. Kathryn wanted a Cape Cod wedding but with a garden romance feel rather than the nautical Cape Cod theme. The Heritage Museum & Gardens was a perfect choice because of its lush gardens and greenery. Unfortunately the sun didn’t make an appearance on their wedding day so the ceremony was moved from the gardens to the reception tent. The rain let-up just in time for us to sneak outside for some photos before dark. The rain actually ended up adding to the romantic feel they were going for. The cocktail hour was held inside the Heritage Museum filled with antique cars making for a really unique wedding venue. Kathryn wore a beautiful Carolina Herrera gown and Thomas wore a Burberry suit. Also, the bridesmaids were allowed to choose their own dress and color.
