Malibu Inspiration Shoot from Jillian Rose Photography

This shoot just makes my heart so happy. One because it's obviously beautiful. Christina Logan Design brought a gorgeous industrial yet chic feel to the shoot in her design, and it was all complimented beautifully by the florals from Kissing Bees and pretty paper from Papermints. And two, because it provides inspiration for everyone. Which makes my heart leap. So thank you Jillian Rose Photography for bringing us such a beautiful shoot, both inside and out. See it all here.

From Jillian Rose Photography...Love is Love. It doesn't discriminate, it doesn't choose, it just is. That is why we were thrilled to be a part of this shoot. We wanted to design something small and intimate that involved just immediate family and a few lifelong friends to be there with the couple as they celebrated their union. Inspired by juxtaposition, we wanted to play off of a masculine industrial feel with effeminate touches. So that moved us to set the scene on a ranch and keep that old feel throughout the decor. We chose a gorgeous venue in Malibu to set the wedding, brought in some steel and metal to give a little edge, then softened it up with lace and purple accents.
