WIUP + Gold Inspired Photo Shoot + Winners!

This week has been one for the books. We made our first ever appearance on the TODAY Show, and haven’t stopped smiling since. So as you can imagine, wrapping things up is no easy task. But that’s where Chelsea Mitchell Photo comes in. She sent us this gorgeous gold-inspired photo shoot that seemed like the only proper way to bid adieu to such a special, special week.

From Chelsea Mitchell PhotoThe inspiration behind this shoot was a glamorous yet natural feeling wedding. This is for a bride that wants fun and style infused in every part of their wedding, yet keeping the overall feeling organic and not forced. The gold Sarah Seven dress really set the tone for the rest of the details. There are so many amazing non-white wedding dresses out there that we wanted to showcase one of them, and design the rest of the wedding around it. The New York nude and white chevron linen from La Tavola was the perfect choice for the sweetheart table. It has the glamorous look we wanted, yet the color way is subtle enough to work well in natural, and somewhat rustic, settings. The rentals from Archive Vintage Rentals were the perfect touch. The gold goblets and flatware, along with the crisp white lattice plates placed on gold chargers, worked well with the glitzy yet relaxed vibe we wanted. Then we used antique velvet upholstered chairs and hung a gold and crystal chandelier in the tree next to the table. The flowers were designed in a very organic and relaxed style, and incorporated blush and cream flowers with an unexpected pop of orange. Copper Willow Paper Studio created a beautiful invitation suite that had just a touch of sparkle.
