From the Bride… If I had to wrap up our wedding in one word, ‘personal’ would be it. Our generous and amazingly talented group of family and friends had a hand in nearly every part of the process. My husband’s uncle even married us! The weekend’s events all took place in our beloved home of Cambridge, Massachusetts, culminating in the reception– held inside the Cambridge Boat Club, a landmark we’ve come to know through our frequent jogs along the Charles River. The night didn’t go totally smoothly… my groom got a sudden migraine and had to leave our reception… but our guests rallied around us with love and support. He returned and slowly but surely came back to life and we felt humbled by the reminder that all this wedding ‘stuff’ is secondary to the commitment being honored and celebrated. Thanks to Geneve, you’d think it all went off without a hitch!
