From the Bride…From the moment I met Zach, I knew he would be mine. I remember being there, in that moment of our first meeting, so aware of the fact that I’d need to remember everything that was unfolding. Zach was a perfectly handsome gentleman that I was instantly attracted to. It took a year of flirting before we started dating but when we fell in love, we fell hard. We were inseparable and it was clear that this was no ordinary love. Two amazing years later I found myself on the beach, with a ring on my finger. We soaked in the moment and started planning.

From the very beginning, I dreamt of an effortlessly elegant wedding at The Parker, in Palm Springs but I never thought my dream would come true. Then, late, one afternoon, we took a spontaneous drive to the desert to visit The Parker. From the minute we arrived, I could picture the entire weekend unfolding – it was perfect. My Mom cried, I was over the moon, and Zach wasn’t quite sure what had happened but we all knew we had found the perfect destination. Once the venue was chosen, the real planning began. I obsessed over every detail in the hope to achieve an effortlessly elegant vibe. Instead of colors, I focused on textures. From there we incorporated gold sequins, cool marble, clean lucite, shimmery Moroccan wedding blankets, lush greenery and soft blush florals.

When the day finally came, the girls and I got ready in a sunny villa while the boys were treated like kings in PSYC (Palm Springs Yacht Club). Our ceremony was situated on the croquet lawn and we were married under an old olive tree. Our family and friends served as witness and our rings were prayed upon and blessed by our family. The cocktail reception kicked off the celebration and was hosted in a secret garden which guests could only access through an old Moroccan door found through a hedge-lined walkway. And the reception was perfectly, effortlessly elegant. We danced the night away with our closest family and the day went off without a hitch. It flew by, it was a dream.
