From Mariée Ami Wedding Planning Studio…Fran and Thomas were one of the goofiest couples we have worked with. As soon as Fran got engaged she called and said she would be having a beach wedding and the rest would be up to Mariée Ami! Thomas proposed at Fran’s family beach house in Alys Beach, so it was an easy decision of where it would take place. The design was a mix Fran’s Anthropologie-like style with the beach’s clean and nautical setting. Fran also loves pattern so we incorporated yellow chevron stripes that showed up in her paper suite, and yellow large-scale floral linens into her reception. Succulents, terrariums with greenery, and luscious white flowers mixed with crisp gray and white made this noon wedding work! And since Fran and Thomas are always the life of every party we needed that “fun” signature element. We gave out sunglasses with tags reading “Our future’s so bright, You’ve got to wear shades.” It was a huge hit!
