Every day I find a new reason to love Massachusetts weddings, from the breathtaking settings to the sweet duos that grace our pages with their uber-stylish faces. And clocking in at number 595 (I’m estimating) is this darling affair from the ever-talented Anna Sawin Photography. An affair, mind you, that happens to boast all of the aforementioned, plus sweet rustic details and a whole lot of happy. It’s a combo that can’t be beat, really, and you can see it all in the full gallery.
From Anna Sawin… If music can be a detail, then this was the most detail-rich wedding I’ve ever attended! Music truly filled the day, from family music rehearsals in the morning, professional choral recitals by the family, piano accompaniment by family and friends and informal song. Abby, a soprano opera singer, and Adam were married at Quonquont Farm in Whately, Massachusetts last August. They traveled from their west coast home to bring the wedding to the home locale of Abby’s elderly grandmother. The couple was serenaded at the ceremony with a rich choral harmony provided by her mother and father, as well as countless other friends and relatives, and professionally conducted by her brother.
Abby and Adam celebrated the height of the summer harvest with locally sourced and prepared foods from Whately farms, including pies made from the freshly picked, summer-ripe peaches of Quonquont Farm. Their afternoon nuptials were as warm, lovely and lingering as the summer day itself.
