Denver Wedding from Sara Hasstedt Photography

Leave it to Sara Hasstedt to completely sweep us off our feet. With a wedding that’s the epitome of elegance (and a tiny taste of whimsy), it’s nearly impossible not to love this Denver fête to bits. Ladybird Poppy is to thank for every perfectly styled blooms, and after a nice, long look through the full gallery, I can tell you one thing is for darn certain. Today is going to be a good, good day.

From Sara Hasstedt PhotographyJess and Jason are a playful couple and they have an infectious joie de vivre that brings life to those around them. They live a deliberately beautiful life and this was reflected in the choices they made for their wedding day. They wanted a wedding that was simple and intimate filled with feminine whimsical touches. Their wedding was sweet and a true celebration with their closest friends and family of the new life they were beginning as a married couple. Many of the china pieces used for the florals were pieces that Jess has spent collecting over the years since she and Jason have been together. The pieces came from antique stores, estate sales and flea markets. Jason’s mom made the cake as well as the desserts for the reception. My favorite detail that Jess chose were the gorgeous robes from Plum Pretty Sugar that she gifted to her bridesmaids. They made for such lovely photos of the bride and her girls together before getting ready for the ceremony!
