Before you head on out to celebrate the fourth in whichever way you choose (hello BBQ’s!), we thought it was only right to celebrate right here on the pages of SMP Florida too. And celebrate we shall in the only way we know how, by sharing some Americana-inspired pretty. We owe this gorgeous dose of red, white and blue to Luminescence Studios, and you can see every last bit of the patriotic pretty right here in the full gallery.
From Luminescence Studios… Memorial Day weekend my husband and I were having a barbecue in our backyard and we saw some kids next door playing with sparklers, laughing and having the time of their lives. In that moment an idea popped in my head for a styled shoot that embraced what it means to be an American, everything that makes living in the US so amazing. So I organized a shoot that embraced red, white, and blue, Coca-Cola, sparklers, backyards, classic cars, and just plain fun.
We shot this in a friend’s Jupiter, Florida backyard, then headed on over to a local field at Riverbend Park, after a short drive with the top down in my father-in-law’s 1975 Chevy Caprice. Just in time for the Fourth of July!
