Show me an intimate garden wedding, and I’ll show you one happy blogger. It’s always been the case. To me, they just ooze romance and meaning. So when this pretty from Joyelle West landed in my lap, I was basically in wedding heaven. And when you sprinkle gorgeous florals from Petalena throughout the entire day? That’s when I simply have to surrender to the pretty. Which is precisely what I plan to do right here, in the full gallery of images.
From Joyelle West… Small weddings are just so intimate and lovely, and this 25-person affair was no exception. Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary, which is apart of the Mass Audubon Society, is a small nature preserve with forest and trails, a historic mansion, and a beautiful formal garden. The bride wanted a true garden wedding, which is a rarity for New England, and the couple and guests dined amongst trees and hanging lanterns. Petalena accented the natural elements of the space with lush arrangements, and used ribbons to hang roses and placecards from the trees. It was a truly magical summer evening in an enchanting garden.
