After spending waayy to much time in this gallery of gorgeous images, I just want to reach through the screen and hug Boots Photography and Blossom & Twine. And then I want to reach through the screen and squeeze this gorgeous couple. Because between the stunning images from Boots Photography , the AMAZING florals from Blossom & Twine and this stylish couple, I've basically melted into a pile of wedding-loving mush. From Boots Photography...This was very much a family affair. Kate's family originally are from Launceston but everyone but Kate has moved to Brisbane which is where she met Nick, so every one travelled down from Brisbane for the wedding, along with some of the wedding vendors like myself. Kate's sister Tegan is a wedding florist in Brisbane with the very cute name Blossom & Twine so she organised the flowers and styling/decorating of the reception with the help of Kate and the other bridesmaids and family, so the day before it was all hands on deck at Quamby to setup the reception room. The room was decorated with moss, candles, hessian chair ties, flowers, jars of chutney with personalised guest name tags, typewriter, crates with flowers (daisies, babies breath), glow sticks for dancing later that evening etc. Kate's friend and bridesmaid also sang during the ceremony accompanied by her sister's husband on guitar. Also another friend is a wedding videographer and he filmed the wedding.  Kate is a school teacher and her class came to the ceremony and waved ribbons on sticks as they walked out of the chapel as husband and wife, something that was really important to Kate. Kate wore a beautiful Justin Alexander gown with a ruffled collar and big skirt and one of the biggest bouquets Ive ever seen. This wedding was pretty but the love between this couple is obvious from the moment I met them two days before the wedding. They are completely smitten with each other. Then mixed with the beautiful country surroundings of Quamby Estate plus an olive/white Kombi, its just a very very cute wedding that was heaps of fun.
