Springtime in Chicago… a fabulous time of year. One that makes for breathtaking e-session backdrops and a whole lot of magical moments frolicking around the city. Case in point? This gorgeous shoot captured by Buena Lane Photography, which combines some of our favorite Windy City backdrops, beautiful imagery and an adorable duo celebrating, what else? L.O.V.E. From Eileen Marie of Buena Lane… I met Ed and Laura at a Carmel wedding a few years ago. They are the type of friends you’re happy to know– fun-loving, caring, genuine. And Ed has a laugh that will make the whole room laugh along with! A few months ago they were engaged and moved to the Midwest. I was thrilled to shoot their Chicago engagement session.
What fun we had running around the Windy City! We started out, bright and early at the Bean in Millennium Park. We beat the crowd and caught some gorgeous morning light off the lake. From there, we headed to Lincoln Park. Even though the day was unseasonably cold, we were happy to see the blossoms had still made it out. Later in the day, we wrapped it up with burgers and local brew at the Public House… and of course, the iconic shot in front of the Chicago Theatre!
