Missouri Wedding from Austin Warnock Photography

I grew up smack dab in the middle of the Midwest so whenever a farm wedding like this comes my way, I feel right at home. But before you write this off as another uber rustic shindig, let me assure you this is not your average farm wedding. It’s the farm wedding elevated to a new level of sophistication and style with every color in the pastel rainbow and enough lace to make a wedding lover weep. Find all of Austin Warnock’s stunning captures plus a pretty little film from Lovebird Studios waiting down below.

From the Bride…After lots of experiences in life and love, Nate and I met on-line. He lived in St. Louis and I lived in Indianapolis at the time, but we soon realized we grew up 30 minutes apart. Our first date was just after Christmas of 2010. He took me to dinner and a Broadway show and coffee after… and from that day on, we traveled to see each other every single weekend until I made the move to St. Louis a year later. He proposed with my grandmother’s ring, on her birthday, July 28th, and I am finally married to the man God intends for me to wake up to every day for the rest of my life…

When Nate and I got engaged we searched St. Louis for the place we would say I do and when we went to Kuhs Farm we knew it was our spot. The land has a beautiful history and the woman who now owns Kuhs inherited it from her great grandpa. One of my favorite things is that it was once a working dairy farm, much like the one that my Grandpa John owned and operated my whole life growing up.

The importance of family has been instilled in me from a young age. Our home is filled with my Grandma Jane’s green chairs, Grandma Mary’s wooden cheese boxes, my moms old scarves… we wanted our wedding to feel comfortable and inviting and happy…like family. And music has been a huge part of Nate’s life since he was tiny, so having live acoustic music weaving the day together was a perfect fit.
