Virginia Wedding from Gabe Aceves Photography + Engaging Affairs

Call me crazy, but out of all the color palettes in the wedding world, black and white is still my all-time  favorite. It’s the textbook definition of timeless, and can fancy up even the most casual of occasions. So when you translate this classic palette to an outdoor plantation affair planned by Engaging Affairs, the result is magic…a wedding I can assure you will never go out of style. Gabe Aceves documented this most elegant day, and there’s soooo much more waiting here.

Colors

From the Bride…Chris and I have lived in Los Angeles since we’ve known each other, so having the wedding in Virginia where I grew up made the whole weekend even more special. Not only was I able to share this perfect, hugely meaningful and awesome day with everyone, but also had the fun of sharing the place where I grew up with friends who had never been there before. On a last note, I must say the wedding is still totally fresh in my brain and I totally realize now that all of the “to-do” isn’t just for one night…it’s an endless source of reminiscing and happy memories that we’ll share with our family and friends forever. Looking back, even the planning part will be a great memory. My mom and I logged some serious phone time and several cross-country trips and genuinely had a good time. I can’t wait for my little sister to get married so we can do it all again.
