Mission Viejo Wedding from Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events

Bringing the beauty of France to Southern California is always a good move in our books. In honor of the Bride’s roots, Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events crafted a day infused with details from home. From grape vines draping the chuppah to champagne favors made from the Bride’s family vineyard, this is a beautiful example of infusing personality and family into your wedding day. And with tons of imagery by Picotte Weddings and a film to wrap it all up by Artisan Production, there’s plenty to get lost in. Have a look here.

From Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events…Selena and Neal had been dating for a few years and once they got engaged, we started the discussion about where the perfect location would be.  Selena is from France and wanted to include some of her culture and tradition into the wedding.  We created a beautiful Chuppah draped with vineyard vines and grapes for them to say their vows under.  For their escort cards, they doubled as party favors and were gorgeous bottles of rose champagne that were made from the grapes of her parent’s vineyard in France.  There was an elaborate cheese display for the guests to enjoy at cocktail hour.  The centerpieces incorporated drift wood, purple and green grapes and varying flowers to emulate the feeling of being in a vineyard. All of the guests enjoyed dinner under the gorgeous glow of the bistro lights.  Everyone then moved into the Ballroom for a performance from her sister, who is a professional dancer and for dancing.  Side Effect brought such an amazing energy with Motown hits, Latin tunes and top 40 music.  When it was time do to the cake cutting, it was definitely not traditional.  They each took a cream puff off of the Croquembouche and fed each other one of those.  The guests were then served 2 cream puffs for dessert.  It was a beautiful evening that really embraced who the couple is.
