To borrow a phrase from yesterday’s beautiful bride, the library is my “happy place.” A place where I go to unwind, read and just feel all-around wonderful. I love it. So, a wedding held in a library? Probably the best thing ever… and the perfect locale for this darling librarian bride to marry her dapper beau. From the sweet whimsical touches to the pretty, pretty hues to the world’s best setting, it’s moment after moment of pure library lovely. See it all snapped up in beautiful images by Hannah Mayo right here.
From Hannah Mayo… Paul and Oyuki were married at the beautiful Spanish River Library in Boca Raton, FL. The venue could not have been more appropriate, as Oyuki is a librarian for the City of Boca. They incorporated the library theme subtly throughout the design of their day with sweet DIY details: vintage books in the centerpieces, votive holders wrapped in book pages, and library escort cards.
The couple’s fun and slightly quirky nature shown in delightful bright green details, including the guys’ bowties from Mo’s Bows (Mo is a 10-year-old from Tennessee!), and even the bride and flower girls had bowtie necklaces!
More than any of these details, however, the joy, love, and emphasis on family infused in this wedding is what stand out to me the most, and that is what made it such an honor to photograph.
