Savannah Wedding from Morgan Gallo Events + Memories N More

We’ve swooned over a Savannah wedding a time or two on SMP, and for good reason – they are always show-stoppers. Maybe it’s the spanish moss, perhaps it’s the southern charm, but I happen to think it’s the people that are attracted to that beautiful city that truly make it special. People like the ones who fill the gorgeous images by Memories N More at this stunning soiree planned to perfection by the Bride and Morgan Gallo Events. It all makes for a gallery of images too pretty to miss, so make sure you catch them all here.

From the Bride… One of my favorite details from the wedding was our favors. My cousin hand-made soap that we wrapped and labeled. We also had our favorite coffee flown in from my hometown. I also loved what our calligrapher did– hand written escort cards on gold DIY doilys, a sign that read “Love is Brewing” for the coffee favor display, and custom signs of Savannah streets for table names.

Our favorite memory was after we left the reception. Following a sparkler exit, we decompressed in the back of a horse-drawn carriage that took us around downtown Savannah. The day had been unusually warm for December so it was a balmy night for a carriage ride. It was our first opportunity to be alone together all day, so we just leaned into each other, took in the surroundings, listened to hooves on the pavement and soaked the day in!

A little advice to future brides: Make sure you have a protein bar or a banana because at some point during the day, you’re going to need a quick reboot! And… Don’t sweat the small problems or details. All you really need for a successful wedding (and marriage!) is you and your fiancé(e).
