Any wedding that serves 15 different cheesecakes for dessert is a wedding I can love. Love is sweet, yes, but it’s even sweeter with a table full of yummy cheesecakes. And if you follow that logic, any wedding that boasts a table full of cheesecakes is going to be fabulous. That is this wedding. Al fresco dining, gorgeous florals, a bride stunningly done up by Kacee Geoffroy, photographs so beautifully clear I feel like I was there! Krista Mason Photography, you rocked this one. From the photographer… Barb and JR both lead a very healthy and active lifestyle and kept their dinner menu healthy and paleo friendly, but when they splurge they go ALL out so their dessert was a spread of 15 cheesecakes from Cheesecake Factory. They wanted the guests to get a small glimpse into their adventures as a couple and so each table was named after a place that was special to the couple in some way, and had a little story telling the table about that destination. In lieu of a guest book they had a silhouette artist cutting silhouettes that guests could sign and compiled those into a book for themselves. When we were designing her wedding, Barb wanted to embrace the classic romance that La Quinta offers and the history of the property. The La Casa, where the reception took place, once served as Greta Garbo’s vacation home! The vintage furniture vignettes from Archive Rentals were perfect for guests to relax and kick their feet during the reception. The weather was perfect and guests danced into the wee hours under a desert sky and gorgeous vintage ballroom chandeliers.
