Summer Wedding at the Holman Ranch from John + Louise Weddings
You know what I love about my job (besides, well, everything)? It's the moment where I swear I've fallen as hard as I could ever possibly fall for a wedding, and then another wedding makes me fall harder. That particular moment just happened with this Holman Ranch wedding, because it just happens to be as perfect as they come. The light, the details, the love - it's all perfect and perfectly captured by John + Louise Weddings - making this a wedding for the books. See it all here!
And see all the magic unfold in this terrific highlight film from Marc Donahue...

From Anna & Dylan... We shot Matt and Marie’s wedding early last summer and there were so many beautiful images it was overwhelming. Matt and Marie both put so much into their wedding. I’m not sure we’ve met a couple that was more enthusiastic about planning their wedding and creating their dream environment to get married in.
When we first met up with them for coffee, Marie told us she had been sneakily snipping succulents from front yards and public places for weeks, propagating them and saving them for her centerpieces. Matt was the one who sent us their Pinterest board. They both were REALLY into it. But it all payed off. The day was just overloaded with beautiful things everywhere you turned. The location, Holman Ranch, was like a barn, a country club, a vineyard, and a Spanish palazzo all in one. They didn’t need to add much to make it beautiful, but they did.
Marie made beautiful fluffy white balls to hang from the barn ceiling, she baked many of the desserts for the dessert table, handmade pastel pinwheels and put together the bunches of baby’s breath that adorned the ceremony. They had branded beer cozies, matches and jars of pepper jelly. And oh, did I mention the photo booth that Matt’s dad built? It was all, truly, ridiculously cute. So much so that it was hard to fit in all the pretty details into one post! Which is why it has taken me so long to share this wedding. But beyond all the details, their wedding had an energy that was momentous. Matt and Marie are truly a couple made for one another, and their wedding was clearly about celebrating their deep bond and commitment. We wish them all the happiness in the world.
