From Julie Anne, Wedding Photographer… Samantha and Jared had a beautiful pink and sage wedding at Carl House in Auburn, Georgia. Their wedding featured harmonious couplings of romantic blooms from antique hydrangeas adorned with a rose petal aisle to the perfect pairing of a ranunculus & scabiosa pod boutonniere. The focal point of the ceremony, second only to the bride and groom themselves, was the custom-made rustic trellis dripping from splinter to nail head with floral graced garland. The motif encapsulated romantic whimsy by featuring soft pink lisianthus and pale ivory stock that molded into the brick backdrop to the point where you couldn’t tell where one stopped and the other began. The bouquets were truly something to swoon over with the pinks, whites, and ivories that little girls the globe over dream for on their wedding day. Crowned with the always lovely silvery green softness of dusty miller and lambs ear, the bridal bouquet was a masterpiece in and of itself. To keep the wedding feeling intimate, they decided on a smaller bridal party. Sam’s Maid Of Honor was dressed to the 9s in her sage J.Crew chiffon dress.
The Carl House is one of the most picturesque venues and is just outside of Atlanta. Regardless of the time of year, everywhere you look is just another moment waiting to be captured. Built in 1903, Carl House is situated on four manicured acres that are surrounded by over 30 acres of the original pasture land property giving Carl House a plantation atmosphere. The bride and groom’s favorite part was the rustic barn for which Sam begged for an image with the beautiful horses.
