Santa Barbara Wedding from Wendy Yalom Photography
This couple rolled out the red carpet for their guests (literally and figuratively), and boy does it show in every well-thought out, gorgeous detail in their glamourous Santa Barbara soiree. Chandeliers in the trees and twinkling lights while their guests dined al fresco? That basically sums up my dream wedding. That dream was a reality for this stunning pair, and thanks to Wendy Yalom Photography we get to re-live it with them through all the gorgeous images in this can't-be-missed full gallery.
From Wendy Yalom Photography...When it comes to style and grace, the bride Destinee is a master. Her wedding vision was a glamorous, breathtakingly beautiful wedding day surrounded by her closest friends and family. Destinee says that is was having a vision of what the Day would feel, look, taste, sound like and having all details align with her vision that inspired her when planning her wedding day. Always coming back to the four words she and Seth chose for our theme - Romantic, Glamorous, Fun, Connected.
With Destinee, her beauty is buoyant. Her explosion of joy when she sees - the chandeliers hung, the red carpet rolled out for her guest (literally, a red carpet arrival along with paparazzi), when her cousin and best friend Sang toasts the bride and stretches herself to share with the whole wedding how much she loves and admires Dest - lifts up everyone in her presence. It is her gift to the world, her willingness and commitment to open in love and beauty. Seth is the perfect match for her – it equal proportion to her openness and beauty is his strength and willingness to be a structure for her to shine brighter and be freer. There personal and unique Santa Barbara wedding was a perfect expression of them both.
Destinee's advice to other brides is "It is most important exude the energy you want for your wedding. It was important to us for our guests to feel taken care of and have fun! The small details (napkins, silverware, etc) - while important, are the icing on the cake. The way of being the Bride & Groom are with each other will determine the Day above all else. We went to a yoga class in the morning, released and open our hearts, and were intentional and deliberate in being in love and having fun on our wedding day - for ourselves and for our guests.
