Set against a breathtaking backdrop of sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, it’s fun-filled moments (beach balls, anyone?) meets a whole lot of Southern sweetness meets some seriously lovely blue hues. From Lyndi J. Photography… A private residence overlooking the marsh on St. Simons Island, GA is where this entire day’s beauty unfolded. In the true form of Southern hospitality, every detail was thoroughly thought out, all the way down to the Sweet Tea. Kelly, the bride, spent countless hours creating all the DIY details – from aisle decorations, to menus, to boutonnieres. In lieu of a formal favor, Kelly and her groom, Jared, adopted a sea turtle, Gracias, from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Instead of bubbles or rice, beach balls were tossed in the air as the bride and groom walked back down the aisle. Every aspect of the day was a reflection of the couple and their love of family and the ocean.
