I basically live for two things: football and weddings. I know, I know… it’s a strange combo. But, every once in awhile those two things merge in the coolest of ways, like in this beautiful East Bridgewater wedding captured by Katie Hall Photography. You see, this darling bride and groom happened to meet at a Patriot’s game – and after a day spent cheering on their favorite team, well… the rest is history. A move to Seattle, an engagement in London and one drop-dead gorgeous wedding later (pretty pink hues + sweet details included), we’re here soaking in all of the lovely. From the Bride… Eddie & I met in typical New England fashion at a Patriots football game. After a year of dating we embarked on a new adventure and headed west from Boston to live in Seattle. It became pretty apparent after the move that we were both in it for the long run and soon after we shared a memorable engagement in London. Thus began the 2-year cross country wedding planning. There was never a question geographically where we would get married, as we both pictured a vibrant New England Spring wedding. Having a shabby chic feel in mind when scouting a venue, The Villa at Rider Country club’s Madera room stuck out. We fell in love with Madera room’s rustic yet polished feel with their dueling fireplaces and exposed beams. We turned to a simplistic approach with decor, partly due to the fact that we were planning the wedding cross country with limited trips back to Massachusetts, but it turned out beautifully. The tables were decorated with rustic birch & mercury glass flower vases filled with peonies, football mums, & spray roses. Candles lined the mantels and the room glowed with amber uplighting, giving off a warm and romantic feel. We BOTH have a love for pink, which played a dominate role in our color scheme, from a bright Raspberry on the bridesmaids to the light pink linens.
Everything about the day went perfectly, from beginning the day pampering with my ladies, to the first look, to our traditional vows, to our very last dance.
