Texas Elopement from Amie Reinholz Photography

For a girl who absolutely adores intimate weddings (read: me), an elopement is one of the best ways to say I do.  It's all of the glamour of a traditional day paired down to the coziest of details for just you and your honey.  Absolute heaven, if I do say so myself.  And for these two sweeties, it was a day that was planned to beautiful perfection by the gorgeous bride, who dreamt up every moment and filled them all with sweeter than sweet details that really spoke to her and her mister (I'm looking at you, cupcake toppers).  See them all captured by Amie Reinholz right here.

From the Bride... As a photographer myself, I had my whole elopement planned out in my head “according to the pictures” I wanted to have! Funny, I know, but this is how it literally all happened! I wanted to create something that resembled both Mike and me, which is one of the reasons we eloped! We wanted our wedding day to be about us and nothing else. I think I may have even done things a little backwards when it came time to plan (it took me about three weeks to pull everything together)! I didn’t start with picking a dress or colors, I picked out the items I wanted to decorate with first!  I spent hours upon hours on Etsy and I say that it paid off! I didn’t care if everything matched… I just wanted it to represent us and our style! So slowly, but surely, everything starting coming together and I was thrilled with the outcome! This first time I got to see it all laid out was with Amie in the suite we stayed in. I couldn’t wait to see it photographed! I would do it this way over and over again if I could and never change a single thing! Having a small, intimate ceremony with just the two of us was absolutely perfect! It was definitely a start to my happily ever after!
