Ireland is high on my list of must visit places in the next year or so, and after taking a peek at this shoot captured by Magda Lukas it’s moving to the to the tippy top. It’s Ireland seen through a fresh new lens thanks to talented workings of White Sage Events, and if you thought the Emerald Isle was gorgeous before, get ready to pick your jaw off your desk. From White Sage Events… When you think of Irish weddings you may think of spellbinding castles, rolling hills and wonderful rugged green landscapes. However we wanted to show a completely fresh and unique Irish wedding through this beach wedding photo-shoot.
We took inspiration from some of those amazing barefoot, simple and sweet weddings we have seen on Style Me Pretty. The shoot took place on the stunning Derrynane Beach in Co. Kerry, located on the West Coast of Ireland. This isn’t something you see too often around here and just look how beautiful the color and texture of the surrounds lends itself to a wonderfully romantic setting.
We wanted the striking natural surrounds of Derrynane Beach to ‘do the talking’ at it were! The main color palette came naturally through the coloured sands, grasses and driftwood on the beach. We complemented these matt tones by adding some warm metallic urns, mirrored boxes, pastel dessert treats and beautifully soft peachy floral tones.
We took it up a notch for the nighttime shoot and added glamour to the wardrobe, however they are still barefoot! You’ll see the difference in color from the sunlight as we shot throughout the day, going from bright to warm to dusk.
This is the Ireland that you rarely see and this is the Ireland that is on the pulse of all of the wonderful US trends we see everyday on Style Me Pretty.
