The first time I spotted this breathtaking Vinewood Plantation wedding, I did a double-take. Like a stare for a minute, look away, stare for another minute kind of double-take. You know, just to make sure I wasn’t completely imagining the beautiful grounds and historic stables draped in gorgeous chandeliers. And when I had convinced myself that this is a wedding that did indeed take place, I dived into the details like any wedding lover should. Because with a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown, the fab stylings of Vinewood Events, Inc and an entire gallery of lovely captured by Alucinarte Films, this is a day straight from a fairytale. See it all here.
And even more gorgeous to devour with this sweet film from Alucinarte Films.
From the Bride… Jeremy and I were so blessed when it comes to our wedding day, and for so many reasons; all of our close friends and family in one place to honor our commitment, day full of sunshine, yummy food and drinks, amazing florals and design. You could not only feel the love you could ‘see’ the love that day in all the fine details and glamorous touches. So many people worked so hard to make our day special. To top it all off, Vinewood is owned by a friend I’ve had for over 20 years, making our wedding day even more heartfelt and full circle for me. It was a day that can never be duplicated and one that we will look back on forever with gratitude, happy hearts and huge smiles.
I can never thank Claudette Montero from Alucinarte Films enough for all her hard work that day . The day was long and hectic and it went by so fast. Now, every time I look at her images it brings an instant smile to my face just remembering those feelings like it was yesterday. The memories she managed to capture we (and my family) will have to cherish for the rest of our lives. She is very talented and asking her to participate in our wedding day was one of the best decisions I made as a bride to be. Our wedding was our idea of perfection in every way… simply magical.
From Vinewood Events… When a dear friend of mine and her fiance began the search for their wedding venue, I was over the moon when they chose Vinewood Plantation. Vinewood was a bit of an unusual choice for Casey and Jeremy. They live in the DC/Virginia area and both of their families live there, as well, but once they thought about all of the extended family and friends they realized that for the most part no matter where they chose their venue would be a destination wedding.
Casey had always imagined her wedding being a formal black tie event. So with a lot of faith that comes from a deep rooted friendship, she entrusted me to create a formal ballroom reception feeling within our historic stables. Beginning with a color palette of black, white and silver the details all began to come together.
Most importantly memories were made. Fantastic memories to add to an already incredible journal of life’s experiences shared with friends. A huge thanks to all fantastic vendors for doing what they do best and for making Casey and Jeremy’s wedding day such a wonderful experience from start to finish.
