Tuscany is one of those places that I have never had the opportunity to visit, but just know I would love. Maybe it's because every wedding we receive from this Italian paradise is literally dripping with romance and every image captured looks straight from a fairytale. All I know is that I would rush off tomorrow to spend all eternity soaking in the fabulous countryside and old-world magic... and would say "I do" in an instant in one of Tuscany's amazing villas. From Heather Waraksa... I wanted to share Marisa and Brad's destination wedding with you that took place in Tuscany. It was an extremely intimate event with nine in attendance (including myself and my second photographer) at a private villa on a vineyard. To say it was my dream wedding would be an understatement. Setting, experience, family, food and wine were the focus.

From the Bride... Despite spending more than a decade in the same city and having several mutual friends, we never crossed paths until friends of ours decided to move. We met at a going away party in Anchorage, Alaska and it was truly love at first sight. It was a whirlwind romance from there; engaged in Hawaii, moved to Baku, Azerbaijan, and married in the hills of Tuscany, Italy all within a year. Crazy. When we thought about places to get married, we both agreed it couldn't get any more romantic than the wine country of Tuscany, Italy. Rolling hills, vineyards and villas seemed like the perfect setting. A destination wedding was also ideal given our new home overseas. Once we saw the pictures of Villa di Nozzole and the surrounding landscape, we knew we found our wedding location. We both wanted a small intimate wedding where we could actually enjoy ourselves as well as our special guests. We decided that in order to do this, we would only have our parents and one witness each present. We also wanted our parents to enjoy the Villa as well as the beautiful surroundings of Tuscany.
