There is so much I want to say about our beloved city right now. I could go on and on about how its cobblestone streets are the most charming, or how its historic sights can’t be matched, or how it’s quirky design can’t be compared (have you ever tried to navigate this pretty city?) – but the thing I absolutely love most are the people that fill it’s gas-lamp lit streets. People like these two cuties captured by Fat Orange Cat Studio. Who, even though they weren’t born and raised in Boston, couldn’t imagine their engagement session anywhere else. And how can you blame them? The spirt and sights of Boston simply can’t be beat. See the entire session right here.
From the Bride… Even though we are in getting married in Charleston, South Carolina, we really wanted to do our engagement photos in our cozy little Boston neighborhood and in our apartment with our pug, Winston, and cat, Chloe. I also wanted it to reflect our style and really represent us. After six years of dating, we got engaged on a California convertible road trip at the Parker in Palm Springs, which is designed by my favorite designer Jonathan Adler. Our amazing photographer Li Ward from Fat Cat Studios incorporated a lot of our Jonathan Adler-esque accents in our apartment, including the “happy” pillow that was in the hotel where we got engaged. We live in the coziest neighborhood South End and really wanted to take some shots steps outside our front door to have memories of where our first home together.
