From The Finer Things Event Planning…Amanda and Jonathan reside in Washington D.C. but chose Columbus, Ohio as their destination wedding location. Amanda and Jon met and fell in love in college, at The Ohio State University of course! The ceremony and reception took place at a historical location in Columbus, Ohio, The Athletic Club. A unique venue that adds a touch of warmth and class to every event it houses. Amanda and Jon chose to express their wedding through adding unique shabby, chic touches. As Amanda and Jon gave their vows in front of the large fireplace lined with candles, a dear friend of the Bride and Groom presided over the ceremony. Classical string musicians filled the air. The whimsical flowers in shades of pink adorned by mason jars that complimented the warm gold chairs. The bride’s grandfather, an avid book collector loaned Amanda and Jon stacks of his favorite books to decorate the guest, escort card display. Jon did an amazing job putting together his very own photobooth where guest took many playful photos. Ending the night, an Ohio tradition… the famous Graeter’s Ice Cream Bar where guest created their own sundaes with their favorite local ice cream.
