Everything about this SMP week has been pretty spot-on fabulous, if we do say so ourselves. So fabulous, in fact, we were at a complete and total loss for how to top it off. With wedding after gorgeous wedding parading through our pages, we knew we needed something extra amazing to send you off into the weekend. And then it happened. We came across this NYC rooftop proposal that takes squeal-worthy romance to the next level. Beautifully captured by Jon Macapodi, it brought tears to our eyes and joy to our hearts, as every “Will You Marry Me?” should. It’s basically one giant swoon-fest that we just know you’ll love.

From the bride-to-be… My fiance Garrett Goodwin proposed to me on a rooftop in NYC. He plays in a band and it was difficult for him to set the “stage” so our good friends truly helped out. Garrett shipped a box full of lights and 150 polaroid pictures of him and I with 150 things written that he loves about me to a good friend who set it up while we were at dinner. We were going to visit a friend at their apartment and literally had to climb about five sets of fire escape stairs to get onto the roof. I was completely and utterly surprised as you can see in the video! It was a dream come true!
