Montecito Wedding at Ravenscroft Estate from Wild Whim Design + Photography

Oh California, you do it to me every time. Just when I think I've seen the most gorgeous sunlit soiree from your amazing state, you pop another stunner right in my lap to prove you've got plenty pretty up your sleeve. Today's pretty-fest (and pretty doesn't even do it justice) comes from the talented workings of Wild Whim Design + Photography. They had the pleasure of capturing this dreamlike wedding at Ravenscroft Estate that almost looks too gorgeous to be real, lucky for all of us it's as real as they come - and it's all sitting pretty right here.

From Wild Whim Design + Photography... Carly and Jeff, native to Orange County, have spent their entire relationship vacationing in Santa Barbara. So it only came natural to want to have their wedding in Montecito, Ca. They found Ravenscroft Estate, a beautifully romantic + private estate available for weddings as a vacation rental. The Estate, designed by renowned architecht George Washington Smith, also designed the famous Four Seasons Biltmore, which is located just a couple miles down the road. A timeless, elegant wedding took place, with the ceremony in the Garden and the reception on the back lawn. The most wonderful aspect of this wedding is the fact that although it took place in one of the wealthiest parts of the country, the couple really cut a lot of corners to make it happen. For one, the estate was rather reasonable considering the location. They had a friend take care of the day-of coordination and Carly's mom, a florist, was responsible for the flowers and table decor.
